The ever controversial rebel of the culinary world, Marco Pierre White is deemed the ‘Godfather of modern cooking’. He was the youngest Briton to receive three Michelin stars at the young age of 33. But shortly after, at the very pinnacle of his career, he put down his knives and retired as a chef. Though that wasn’t the end of his time in the kitchen. Now a familiar face on TV, White has helmed several cooking shows, such as Hell’s Kitchen and Masterchef: The Professionals. His legacy continues with the many well established chefs he trained back in the day: Gordon Ramsay, Curtis Stone and Jason Atherton to name but a few.
